What We Do

Our mission is to walk alongside anyone in Edgecombe County facing cancer or grief — here's how we're doing that right now.

These are our current programs. We're a young organization, and we're always looking for new ways to help as needs come up.

Blood Drives

We organize community blood drives so patients undergoing cancer treatment have the blood they need, when they need it. Our first blood drive brought together local donors right here in Edgecombe County, and we're planning more.

Care Package Drives

We collect items and put together care packages for patients at Duke Cancer Center — small comforts meant to make a hard season a little easier.

Teddy Bear Drive (December)

Our next big project: a teddy bear drive this December, collecting new stuffed animals to bring comfort to patients and families going through treatment.

Awareness & Community Outreach

Beyond individual drives, we work to raise awareness about cancer and grief support in our community, and to make sure families know they aren't facing it alone.
